Today is Justice Clarence Thomas’ 75th birthday and there is no better gift than furthering our demand for his immediate resignation and demanding that Congress prioritizes student debt relief and judicial nominations.
Supreme Court ethics has come to national attention numerous times recently due to Justice Thomas’s corrupt behavior. His utter disregard for ethical standards and violation of public disclosure law is unacceptable and must be stopped. Join us in calling for Justice Thomas to resign immediately, as he has done irreparable damage to public trust in the judiciary.
Public trust in the Supreme Court is at an all-time low partially in thanks to Justice Thomas’ lack of ethics. This is why Congress must prioritize filling our lower courts with ethical, trustworthy judges who will protect the rights of all people. There are also over 7.5 million borrowers who have defaulted on their student loans. President Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan is still awaiting a decision from SCOTUS, but Congress should take immediate action to #CancelStudentDebt!

Hi, my name is [name], and I’m a constituent from [city]. I’m calling because I am concerned for the state of our judiciary and fearful for student borrowers. Public trust in the Supreme Court is at an all-time low, therefore, we must focus on filling every vacancy on lower courts. Congress also must take action to pass legislation in favor of student debt relief. Over 7.5 million borrowers are in default on their student loans, and as President Biden’s student debt forgiveness plan remains at the mercy of this lawless Supreme Court, Congress has the power to take immediate action.
