On February 18, 2026, President Trump nominated Justin Smith to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. 

Justin Smith is a Trump loyalist and would not be an independent judge. He has repeatedly prioritized protecting Donald Trump over upholding the rule of law. This nomination should alarm anyone who cares about LGBTQ+ rights, access to reproductive care, and other civil rights and protections. 

We cannot allow a Trump loyalist to get a lifetime judicial seat. Lend your name to the fight against this nomination.
