Take Action Against Unfit And Unqualified Judicial Nominees!

Our federal courts should be filled with judges who are fair, qualified, and committed to upholding the Constitution – not political loyalists with extreme agendas or troubling records. Unfortunately, too many recent judicial nominees fall short of that standard.

Lifetime judicial appointments are among the most consequential decisions any Senator can make. Our courts should be staffed by judges who will uphold the rule of law, protect the rights of all  people – not just the powerful – and demonstrate a clear commitment to justice, equity, and democracy.

We’ve seen a dangerous pattern: nominees who can’t answer basic legal questions, who endorse partisan views, or who’ve shown hostility to civil rights, democracy, and the rule of law. These individuals do not belong on the federal bench – not now, not ever.
